We have put a lot of thought and consideration into the materials we use on our products. In short: we use only the most premium, durable and sustainably materials available. Want to learn more? Here are the nitty-gritty details:

Our conversation starter cards are made from FSC-certified, 300 gsm smooth German black-core card stock with an aqueous coating. What this means:

• Multiple paper layers increase flexibility and durability.
• Smooth cards pick up less dirt and grease.
• Coating protects against humidity, moisture and frequent handling.
• Heavy cardstock won’t tear or bend easily.
• All the material is certifiably sustainably sourced.

The boxes are made from heavy-duty FSC-certified paper stock with an aqueous coating and optional UV-gloss ink for aesthetic, packaged in compostable shrink wrap. In short:

• The box is very strong. You can drop it, kick it, shove it around and it will protect the cards.
• It looks great. The colours won’t fade quickly* and the gloss ink picks up light beautifully.
• It is 100% recyclable and compostable. Even the plastic wrap will break down to leave no waste.

* All colours will inevitably fade over time, but our protection ensures it will take a long time (unless you leave it in direct sunlight every day!)

All our products are designed to last years (decades, even). They are intended to be a multi-generational tool if properly cared for.
